Medieval Festival Oradea

One of the largest medieval festivals in Romania, annually organized in July, in the Oradea Fortress. The event revives the time of knights and princesses, gathering hundreds of fighters from all around the world, in historical battle reenactments and full-contact jousting tournaments. From interactive and fun events, armor exhibitions, medieval games and music performances, to fire juggling shows, craftsmen, artisans and dressage of prey animals, the festival has something for everyone.

Sounds of Oradea Festival 2024 brings together a lineup of top international artists who will perform in Oradea between June 14th and 16th: Angela Gheorghiu, David Giménez Carreras, Teodor Ilincăi, the Orchestra of the Oradea State Philharmonic, The Prague Cello Quartet, and the National Opera of Sofia, Bulgaria. Tickets for the performances are already available for purchase online and at the Oradea State Philharmonic.
